rimric press was founded by
M.R.M. Parrott in November 1997, at first to publish Parrott's books and other works. Eventually, the press issued a local newsprint publication,
rimric folio, during 2000-01 in Columbia, South Carolina, and later online, on rimric.com during 2001-04. Like M.R.M. Parrott, rimric press has looked for opportunities to promote authors outside the mainstream. This new database-driven website at rimric.com was built and launched during a relocation in Chicago, Illinois. It is dedicated to the creativity of all self and small press authors and publishers, and will support "unknown" books of intellectual import, inteviews with authors, chapbooks of Poetry and Short Stories, monographs, and of course, new Fiction. rimric press is all about supporting new and original voices and new media.
