M.R.M. Parrott's “Timeless” thriller trilogy, opening with “Book I” (2003), continuing with “Book II” (2008), now concludes with “Book III”, published by rimric press at TimelessTrilogy.com. “It's been an amazing experience writing and finishing this trilogy,” says Parrott. “There are 'timeless' plot elements of thriller and science fiction, with duty and personal choice, belonging and family ties, and now leadership and political intrigue, forming dilemmas in each book, with a classic love story at the heart of the trilogy.”

“Book III” is based on the political decisions and military strategy of a Japanese woman who is Chancellor of the future United Nations, Nishiko Kitamori. She must show the world she is ready to lead, but she is also being targeted by enemies while the world is visited by alien beings. Milona Devon and Olen Nadimov are also part of the story.

“Timeless” introduces a future when the United Nations is also the global senate, treasury and military, and alien ships have been detected far in space. More immediate trouble arises when a mysterious temporal distortion field is headed for Earth. Two options are pursued: time-travel to the past to execute the supposed originator of the time machine; and development of a force-shield to block the approaching threat from space. This leads to competition between operative and scientific teams, philosophical and ethical dilemmas, temporal paradoxes, and conflicts between past and future circumstances.
