One of my favorite authors, aside from some notorious early 20th century ones, is Wally Lamb. I feel that he lends a voice to the invisibles in society-women in prison, and women trapped in prisons of their own making.
Aside: I was hoping there was a philosophy topic forum here, because I am taking my first intro to philosophy class at a local private women's college, and am considering it as a minor to compliment a social work major. Any feedback is appreciated.
